COURSE DESCRIPTION

i2 Month will expand the immersive learning model of STEM Week into four weeks of project-based learning across our disciplines. Students will work together to design and build a colony on the moon. Along with gaining the knowledge and experience from constructing their lunar colony, students will discover the other crucial aspects to surviving and thriving in outer space. Students will develop a nutrition plan for colonists, learn about different models of government and create their own, and study real astronaut journals and read and write science fiction to gain a stronger understanding of the current realities and wildest dreams of human life in space.
