Prior to leading Newark STEM Week, teachers will attend a two-day professional workshop in interdisciplinary STEM curriculum and project-based pedagogy.

On the last day of Newark STEM Week, students will present their projects and discuss their learning from the week at a showcase to which friends, family and other community members will be invited.
To be clear, the Newark STEM Week courses will replace all regularly scheduled classes at schools who are participating in the program. This curriculum is designed to be run the entire day, not simply during science class.
